How to Connect Blogger with Google Plus Account

Promotion of your contents through different social media is an important part of blogging campaign and a must for everyone who is looking forward to increase the visibility of his website. Google offers an easy way to connect your blogger account with your Google Plus account so that every time you publish a new post, you can easily share it with your friends.

Connecting your account with Google + account is easy but only if your blog and Google plus account are under the email address.

Using the new interface;
  • Go to Blogger - Dashboard
  • On the top right side of your dashboard click on  
  • A drop down menu will appear.
  • Click on connect to Google +


A pop up window will be displayed with the following information;

To link your blog with your Google+ account, you’ll need to replace your Blogger profile with your public Google+ profile
  • Share your posts to your Google+ stream
  • Highlight your posts in Google search results for your social connections
  • Get access to existing and upcoming Google+ features

How it works
  • Your public Google+ profile will replace your Blogger profile
  • Your profile gadget will show information, including your common name, from your public Google+ profile instead of your Blogger profile
  • Your posts and comments will link to your public Google+ profile
  • This change will affect all your blogs: How to Make Money Online, Daily Blog SEO and Tips.

Make sure that you read the instruction carefully and decide whether to connect it or not. If you have made up your mind and you want to connect, scroll down a little bit and you will find the following.


Check the box and agree with the term of use then click on Switch Now. You have already connected your Blog with the Google + account.

  1. I have done this with a couple of my Blogger blogs. It's definitely a good thing to do. Google Plus is growing apace and those plus one buttons already help with SEO. Also, your photo ends up being displayed in search results, which helps increase the number of clicks you get.
