Internet Ad Network for Publishers

If your website is having enough traffic and you are planning to monetize it or may be you are already doing it and you are not satisfied with what you are getting, you may need to take a look at different internet advertising networks. Depending on your website traffic and your niche, there are different advertising networks that  you can try.

The following is a list of internet ad networks for publishers that are readily available online;

  • CPM and CPC
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • CPA
  • Sponsorship
  • Paid links
  •
Cost Per Click (CPC)
This is the most commonly used advertising network especially by new bloggers. The advertiser is charged per click basis everytime a visitor click on the ads.  Google Adsense and Chitika are CPC ad networks.

Cost Per Thousand (CPM)
These are type of ads that are based on impression. Impression is defined as how many times a visitor view an ads. If your website is generating adequate traffic, then these type of ads will be suitable for your website. For blogs with low traffic, these ads are not for you.

Affiliate Marketing
Compensation is based on performance of your website. You only get paid if you sent a visitors to the advertiser website and the visitor makes a purchase. To success in affiliate marketing, you need to understand your target audience and provide them with goods or products that they are more likely to buy.

Cost Per Action (CPA)
You get paid only when a qualified action occurs. These actions may be like when a visitor signs a certain form, a visitor make a sale or anything else that generates leads.

Sponsorship
This is another advertising network that you will never be able to use unless your website have very high traffic. No advertiser will agree to pay for ads in a website that only receives a few visitors per day. In this type of ad network, advertiser pays for his website to appear in your website which can be in form of links, banners etc

Paid Links
These is where publishers sell text links. The advertiser may suggest to you the anchor text that he would like to be use when linking to your website and where the link would appear.  The problem with this type monetization is that, Google penalize websites that are found to be selling paid links.
