Do you know having too many posts on home page can slow down the loading time of your blog? This is very important if you want to retain visitors on your blog or even for a positive SEO results. No one wants to spend 30 seconds or so just waiting for a single page to load.
If you are using blogger, there is an easy way to set the number of posts showing on the home page;
Go to Blogger - Dashboard - Settings - Formatting. On the first line, there is Show at Most and a drop down menu where you indicate the number of posts to be displayed on the main page. Just write down the number of posts that you would like to be displayed. The recommended number of posts is between 5 to 10 and not more than 10.
If you would like to display more than 100 posts in your home page, simply select day and a limit of 500 posts will be displayed. After setting what you like, just scroll down the page and click on Save Settings. The number of posts that you set to be displayed will be the one to be shown on the home page.
